General Membership Meeting

Julie called the meeting to order at 9:00 am.
Pledge of Allegiance and Inspiration led by Arcelia Loera of Countrywide Home Loans.
Introductions:
Special Recognition: Ed Byington, Nampa Association of Realtors President.
Other Guests: Maria of Building Specs, Yvonne Campbell of Title One and Angela DeFries of Southfork
Landing. Representing Prime Equity Mortgage were Shanna Wroten-Tucker, Vanya Roberts and Terri
Gehring.
Speakers:
• Sadie Noah of Creed Noah, McCall and Dean Tucker of Prime Equity Mortgage spoke on the second
home market.
Announcements:
• Looking for 2nd Quarter Rookie Realtor applications and sponsors. Nancy Judd is the person to
contact for that.
• National and Wealth Building WCR/NAR convention registrations are now open.
• State Golf Tournament was announced and will take place June 16th in Jackpot.
• Canyon County Bus Tour is June 12th and tickets are available.
• June 1 will be a benefit party at St. Chappelle to benefit Molly Henrie.
New Members:
Sponsor: Stewart Title was the sponsor. Eric Schmidt presented and held a drawing for a gift basket. LeAnn
Badiola of Keller Williams West was the winner.
Happy Ticket: A drawing was held, Brad Epperly of Home Federal was the winner.
Next Meeting: June1, 2007 at Elmers.

2. Minutes
a. Minutes to April Governing Board and General meeting were approved.
3. Treasurer’s report deferred to next month.
4. Membership report: Tom Turner
a. The Chapter has 65 members currently comprised of 63% Realtors, 15% National Affiliates and
20% Local Affiliates.
b. We will plan a new member orientation after June meeting.
5. Education report: Mary Sorensen
a. Jeremy Pisca will be our speaker for June, discussing legal issues of Real Estate. July will be on
selling to the senior market. Dee Yale and/or Lori Burchfield will be contacted for July meeting to speak.
6. Committee Report: deferred to next month
7. Old Business:
a. Wine bottles have been donated for the prize for State Meeting. We need a wine rack. LeAnn
thinks she has one.
b. Mid-year convention agenda was reviewed.
c. Kelli will call Carol Andrews about booking Mike Gamble for the Holiday Auction.
8. New Business:
a. 4 sponsors at $2,000 per will be the cost of the CE class. Education committee will meet to
discuss sponsors and classes.
b. We are in need of Rookie Realtor applications for 2nd quarter.
c. Board is responsible for selling $100 of raffle tickets for the WCR statewide golf tournament.
d. Mid year report was discussed
